Post-Publication Discussion

Journal of Future Education recognises that scholarly discussion continues after publication. Readers may raise substantive questions, offer evidence-based criticism, or identify issues concerning the methods, data, interpretation, or implications of a published article.

Correspondence should identify the article concerned, explain the issue clearly, and provide supporting evidence or relevant scholarly references where possible. Comments should be constructive, focused on the scholarly record, and respectful of the individuals involved.

The editor will assess whether a submission is relevant, sufficiently substantiated, and suitable for publication. Where appropriate, the original authors may be invited to respond. Both the comment and the response may undergo editorial assessment or external review when the subject requires additional expertise.

Publication of a comment does not mean that the journal endorses every argument it contains. The purpose is to support transparent and evidence-based academic discussion.

Personal attacks, unsupported accusations, confidential information unrelated to the scholarly issue, and content that violates the rights or safety of others will not be accepted.

If a post-publication discussion identifies a potential error or ethical concern, the editor will initiate the appropriate procedure under the journal's policies on misconduct, correction, or retraction. Relevant notices and responses should be linked to the original article whenever possible.
