Electronic Archiving

Journal of Future Education recognises that preserving published research is essential to maintaining a reliable scholarly record. The journal maintains electronic records of published articles through its online journal platform and endeavours to protect their long-term availability.

Each published article should retain its bibliographic information, including title, author names, affiliations, abstract, keywords, publication date, references, and DOI where assigned. These records support discovery, citation, and identification of the published work.

The editorial and publishing team takes reasonable steps to protect article files and associated metadata against accidental loss, unauthorised alteration, and technical disruption. Backup and recovery procedures should be implemented according to the technical facilities available to the publisher.

The journal will identify and use digital preservation services when participation has been established and verified. Names such as the PKP Preservation Network, LOCKSS, or CLOCKSS will not be presented as active preservation arrangements unless the journal can confirm its participation.

If the website becomes temporarily unavailable, the publisher will make reasonable efforts to restore access using available backup and recovery mechanisms. Published articles will not be silently removed to conceal errors, disputes, or ethical concerns.

When a correction or retraction is necessary, the journal will preserve the relevant publication record and link the notice to the original article wherever technically possible. Changes to article status should remain traceable.
