Journal of Future Education supports the dissemination and responsible reuse of scholarly knowledge through open access. The journal's publication ethics page identifies the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International licence (CC BY-SA 4.0) as its licensing framework. The editorial office should ensure that this remains consistent with the licence displayed in OJS and on published articles.

Under CC BY-SA 4.0, users may share and adapt licensed material for any purpose, including commercial purposes, provided that they give appropriate attribution, provide a link to the licence, indicate whether changes were made, and distribute adaptations under the same licence or a compatible licence as permitted by its terms. Users must not impose additional legal or technological restrictions that prevent others from exercising the rights granted by the licence.

Authors retain copyright while allowing the reuse permitted by the licence. Readers and subsequent users are responsible for following its attribution and ShareAlike requirements.

Third-party content included in an article is not automatically covered by the article's licence when a separate rights statement applies. Users must check the relevant credit line or rights notice before reusing such material.

The licence statement must be consistent across the journal website, OJS settings, article metadata, and published PDF. Any future change in licensing policy should be communicated clearly and implemented in a manner that respects the terms applying to articles already published.
